Here we are near where we live...well, we really do live in a real neighborhood but this is the terrain near us...this is actually at Burro Schmidt's Tunnel.

- My name is Patti and I live with my wonderful husband Tommy and our 2 Sheltie Furbabies:Seamus and Stirling. We live in the middle of the Mojave Desert and after 30 years in the desert we have bought a house around the block from the beach!!! We are so excited to begin a new adventure...by the sea. But first, we have a lot of work to do at the "beach house"...which mostly is being done by our friend/contractor. Moving to the sea has been my dream but I thank the Lord that Tommy is excited too! However, we have many wonderful friends we'll be leaving and saying goodby too..but, we'll only be 3 hours away and we're expecting lots of company!! This Blog is for telling the story of our move, the house re-do, the excitement, discoveries, the emotions involved. Also, decorating help is welcomed!! We are living in the "Desert house" and won't be moving to the "Beach House" until June. It will be a bitter sweet move. Come along and see how our adventure unfolds.
